This is a test post.
Although I don’t seem to have a lot to say lately, I’m trying to get better at making entries here. To do that I’m trying ScribeFire again.
I guess that’s not entirely true. I have plenty to say. But I have learned several things since the last time I had a very active web site:
- Anything I say can, and will, be used against me by those who hate.
- I need to stay positive.
- I need to be a positive influence in the lives of others, especially those who mean the most to me.
- Sometimes it is best to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open my mouth and remove all doubt.
For these reasons I do a lot of self-censorship now. Believe me, it is very tempting to lash out on a variety of subjects. Tempting for sure…but not wise. Enough of what I do say that is positive and constructive will be taken out of context and used by others for purposes of ill intent. Enough so that I really don’t need to provide any additional ammunition.
So, please do enjoy what I do put on here. And let my silence on some topics be fuel for your imagination.
